Hi, I’m Cullin!
I am running to give Texans in District 86 a real choice for their future. After more than 20 years of Republican dominance, Texans in District 86 deserve a leader who represents everyone fairly, not just special interests, corporations, and the billionaire class. My priorities include fighting for our public education system, expanding Medicare and Medicaid, and standing up for rural communities that have been overlooked in Austin.
If you are tired of “politics as usual,” I am asking for your vote, and together we can bring representative government BACK to Texans!
Who is Cullin?
Born and raised in Amarillo, TX, Cullin has been involved with politics since he was 16. After graduating from Amarillo High School in 2010, Cullin moved to Austin in 2011 and studied at Texas State University. There, he received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Cum Laude. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Cullin worked multiple jobs, including in the Texas House of Representatives and waiting tables at a local Asian restaurant. Upon graduation from TSU in 2014, Cullin entered the landscape of campaigns and elections. Working all over the state for various candidates. While working the campaign trails, Cullin met a vast array of people from every walk of life, which enhanced his perspective, shaped his worldview, and led to a reevaluation of values.
In 2015, Cullin took time away from working in politics and entered the private sector, working in roadway construction all around Texas for an Arizona-based company. From Midland to Galveston, DFW to Laredo, and everywhere in between, Cullin traversed Texas to make a sale. After a surprise shuttering of the company, Cullin went back to what he knew and briefly re-entered political campaigns in 2016. However, in 2017, he put politics on hold again and began working at his family’s asphalt and paving company, which was based in Amarillo. Cullin was transferred to Arlington, TX, where he took the position as general manager of his family’s Arlington-based company.
His family decided to sell their company in 2024. This helped him decide to return to Amarillo, where he took a position at the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission, which serves the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. During his short tenure, Cullin helped secure millions of dollars in critically needed Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funding for our rural communities.
After serving the rural areas through PRPC around the Texas Panhandle, his love for being a voice for those who need it the most became the forefront of Cullin’s life mission. This work reassured his decision to resign from the PRPC to pursue his run for political office.
Cullin is seeking to be your common-sense voice in the Texas House of Representatives. With both public and private sector experience, he is acutely attuned to solving the issues facing middle-and lower-income people, removing the bureaucratic red tape that stands in their way, and is dedicated to making fiscally responsible choices to better the lives of all Texans.
